Stream write: Shelf

.

Shelf, a place to set things in some sort of order, books, papers, objects have a form to them, they are here not there somewhere in the between waiting to become in this dimension, shelves have stories stored in them on the pages of books,  objects that are both physical and imagined, taking you as you read into another world. Shelf a place to view the world from, convening over time with characters and the author living in another time, time travel of sorts. Was the book written in 1860 or 1612 or, if it’s a pictures from farther back, a book of cave paintings stored on a shelf, a passageway hidden on the inner folio, ready to be entered as soon as you retrieve this book from the shelf and open its porthole stepping through a cave out on to a shelf, a plateau above a lush valley.
