Now...
this minute, this day, this week, this solstice…
in a new conversation, with fresh food, at the break of day
Take a walk, take a nap & wake again, take a shower, meditate
Pick up your pen, pick up your paintbrush, pick up your chisel, pick up the phone… Pick up a friend
Start again, just simply, start again, if you need to?
if not, keep going, it rolls over, the new year, its coming, days will be longer soon! (for most of my readers 😉
Maybe pause, take a look in, what’s there?
Breath in and then breath out, keep going…
A new page, a new chapter, a daily practice
Letting go, starting over, every minute, every second, every breath, tiny steps
yes pick up where you left off
or somewhere else?
Doesn’t matter. Just breathe in, breathe out
Your breath is always there for a fresh start
Happy Solstice! Seasons Greetings!
i Celebrate & Appreciate you, Yes! Thank you for being here!
This brings to mind an upbeat “Americana” song I’ve always liked by Jonathan Edwards. You can find it on YouTube. The version of it I like is from the Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy album, what I think of as the original version, from 1972. The album cover has a closeup full-color photo of the singer. The song is Stop And Start It All Again. He has some relatives in Minnesota, and one time years ago, I saw him perform a casual solo show in the St Paul Student Union theater (probably about 70 seats…) at the University of Minnesota around the holidays when he was going to be in town already to visit family Mostly his friends and family. So great!
Thank you Kathy, i have a good friend who is a big fan of his music but i am not so familiar with it. i’ll check it out!
