Simplify

Simplify, Simplify!

i can hear those words… advice i needed & received many years ago and still need to heed today.

it still challenges me.

As a multidisciplinary creative with many ideas in a variety of mediums, domains and arenas, i love the cross pollination that happens. Variety and differences sparking new connections.

& it does create the challenge of deciding what to let go of in order to bring others to fruition.

Soon i’ll be letting go of some work, replacing it with other work but first i have to get oriented and up to speed with the new work.

Adding before i subtract… condensing to later be able to stretch out. i remind myself to practice the art of relaxed concentration. The aim is to simplify & thus tend to work that is most important to me. I’m a bit nervous about the changes and also excited.

i got to see comet Tsuchinshan from the berm on the creek in Rosendale this weekend, enjoyed a fire watching the moon as well.

A few photos that Sweetheart, Ed took included, one of comet and one of the fire illuminating the great Buartnut tree that graces this property by the creek.

Just two drawings from the pub, i arrived late and opted for an enjoyable conversation with one of the musicians i’d not seen in quite some time.

Sometimes its good to let go & shift gears.

What helps you simplify?

What helps you let go and shift gears?
