Reflecting

interior

The mix of holidays… wonderful and yes, sometimes challenging, for many all of it blending together. Feeling lucky that i had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, a delightful time with my sweetheart and family.

Winding down now, reflecting on this quiet day, i’m feeling a lot of appreciation for sweetheart, family and friends and to you my readers, its heartening having you along on this Little Haven Adventure. Thank you!

There was no open mic at the pub this week due to the holiday. A break from drawing the musicians, i’m sharing an interior i’ve begun working back into. & i thought why not stream on the word reflecting…

Reflecting interior, beaming my insides out, shining light, bouncing back to the viewer, sitting quietly taking in the day, November sunshine, i welcome unexpected blue sky, blue sky helps in the quiet after, after a sweet celebration and time shared, now it’s quiet… i feel the gap.

i’m missing the sweetness and appreciating all the adventures had, had is in the past & there will be more, had before and after next, back and forth, i dream ahead as i reflect back, then ponder the flow of mixed emotions so challenging for some in this festive winter season.

Missed expectations bring some disappointment. Remembering to let go, i cherish the thought, the sense of appreciating what one can, a way to lift the blues when longing shows itself reflecting.
