P&O

Week 15: Pink & Orange

i’m surprised i keep picking pink and orange to work with. When i was a kid, i didn’t like the color orange except sometimes in nature. i wasn’t too hot on pink either. How we change…

Do you ever find yourself drawn to something you used to resist or didn’t like in the past?

  1. Hi Lisa, Absolutely.

It is refreshing to hear your comments about colour, as I too have seen changes in the colours my eyes attract over time. For example, I used to like bright red in my mid-twenties, as time goes on this moved to burgundy (maybe related to wine) and then now is more like a deeper violet!

When I have felt sad colours seep to move toward grey and black. When I am happy, prints and bright colours seem to be a preference.

I used to detest tea bag peppermint tea, then I tried it with fresh mint leaves from the garden after that somehow my body agreed with it. Now, I can drink pepper tea from a bag or the garden. I often scratched my head, what happened there but I do like that it was a natural type that made me appreciate it.

Maybe peeling back some of our onion layers, allow us to peel back some dissolutions too.

    1. Stephanie, Great to hear your experience with changing tastes and the impact of your environment/contexts. Yes, i like that peeling dissolusions. Thanks for connecting here!:)
