Imaginary Experiences
i like to imagine that inside this Ocean Wardrobe are any number of delightful sunny warm ocean experiences waiting for me when i need a warm up & relief from winter weather.
Last post, i wrote of preferring that the new year start in February. At the time, i hadn’t been thinking about February being the start of my drawing year. Today 2/9 is the anniversary of beginning my daily drawing adventure in 2020.
Here i am again! This year a bit surprised that i’ve been able to stay committed to consistently creating, not every single day but most days. & without worrying that i’ll stop altogether, if i miss an occasional day.
Posting weekly… well, had a few wobbles and gaps there but i’m not unhappy with the amount given the year & its challenges.
After intentionally taking a break for most of January, i’m ready to be back, though maybe in a different way.
Time will tell…
No pub open mic drawings this week, just the above, Ocean Wardrobe. & an invitation to use your imagination.
i wonder, what imaginary space do you create when you need a retreat to rejuvenate?
Cheers and thank you!
