Instrument created and played by Jimmy Dunn a new musicians at the Poultney Pub this week (at least since i’ve been attending). Fun hand made instruments. He had a 4 string version as well, both generously played.
And Trip returned. Had more fun drawing him Danny, Scott & Nick and started working back into the giant grommet drawing above. Spring project still holding other Little Haven adventures at bay.
Listening to a gentle rain as i write this, windows open! Wishing you a lush week!

Love these gestural drawings. They capture a spirit, and either motion or a sense of repose, depending on the musician. And the shaded drawing, too, of course. It’s as if the vertical striping represents a group of people, some slender, some more substantial, all engaged in convivial conversation. This teaches me that I can aim my intentions to such a dewy openness, to the upwelling of positivity that’s all around me, if I but seek it out…or imagine it into being wherever I am. Be the wonder. Be the positivity.
Thank you for the wonderful comments Kathy! Lovely to know the drawings have such an effect. Your descriptions “dewy openness” beautiful as well. Much appreciate your following and feedback, XO
