Crunching Time

Facing a Deadline

Metaphorically, eyes open about a dead line…

a firm boundary in time

The end of a story

& literally next week on some work, keep it short, Dusty! Ha Ha

A few days ago, i was discussing some events from 2000 & 2001 with my Mom, we simultaneously expressed shock at the realization that is 25 years ago!

It spurred an odd notion.

The older you get the less difference in age there is between you and your parents.

i know that doesn’t make sense chronologically. You are the age you are and the gap of years between you doesn’t change.

But it feels like its less years, when you are 60 and your mother is 85 its very different than when you are 15 and she is 40. The difference then seemed immense.

Now, thinking about things that happened 25 years ago, they feel like yesterday to both of us.

The relative experience of time it’s a very strange thing, and in a way, kind of wondrous. At least at this moment, i’m choosing to experience it that way.

That way …

i am having a fascinating ride, not always so easy, but remarkable.

And so much to be grateful for, so many experiences to appreciate. Even seemingly horrid ones in time brought me to more clarity going forward, so i lose any sense of regret that might rise in the immediacy of an experience wrought with inner conflict and questionable decisions.

& then there are still deadlines to be met, so i pause my musings, to get back to that!

Started to work on another drawing above, Playing with Space, interior becomes exterior…

Pub Open Mic drawings below, a final newsletter over at Point to Creativity then the site goes away next week… Workshop descriptions to sort & edit.  Living the Magic Membership is calling me to tend to it. Outreach, letters… & & & and then…

Time Crunch, Time Jumps! today, Oh No, just the clocks in the US. Have a great week!
