Loose & Precise

Elastic & solid, i enjoy the contrast between loose and precise.

Loose without being sloppy. The loose part in these works came first, though after a lot of practice. The precise part, adding color takes as long as it takes. i can be stubborn, a bit too much of a perfectionist at times. Though i’ve tempered that part of myself, i can still over do it. 

As i add finishing touches to Leo, i ponder…

When is enough, enough?
