Fans & Circular Driveways
Circular in another way, they quietly move a lot of air, not cars around a drive.
i’ve continued to play with possibilities on changing this driveway to block visual and sound from the busy road.
Might as well be silly with this post while the world seems to be spinning a crazy making bunch of events. Recently, invited to go to an antiwar protest by a friend, i remembered years ago attending too many to no avail. Now the idea of it feels even more like stepping into a squirrel cage fan or worse with no air moving, a hamster wheel.
More thinking about putting any time and energy available (little right now) into building parallel systems & where that opening might be, the entrance to a new system. an exit to the squirrel cage or hamster wheel.
Reading 2 interesting books currently. The Art of Action and The Price of Tomorrow.
i am curious about what the juxtaposition of reading them at the same time, (well not exactly, but intermittently some of both) might spark in my thinking.
Will they shed light on the entrance out?
yes intentional, i am looking for an entrance into a new system that will get us out of the hamster wheel.
is it happening? already…
Maybe quietly low on the stage, behind the scenes, hidden in plain sight. i like to imagine, yes many people are working on parallel systems. Getting ready, some will work, some will not. In the mean time, they will be a purposeful adventure until something else evidences the way forward.
Here’s some pub drawings, not from open mic but from the 5 year celebration! A challenge to draw a whole band on small square (my just in case back up) paper… i hadn’t planned to draw last Wed. with no open mic but with a band, why not…
i know the last drawing is not much but it is the one with the squirrel cage fan that i used in the blog title so i decided to use it!
Hope you have a great week & Thanks for being here!
