& Invisible Work
Very much in process with this. i’ve been playing around with a birds eye, sky view. Inspiration from some bird enthusiast and my habit of having flying dreams. A different kind of landscape.
& landscape is one way i’ve been inclined to expand my drawings.
Last week i mentioned some underlying work finished, the relief of a close call with a possible embarrassing & painful mistake averted.
Seemingly invisible but important work.
Sharing it so you may avert the same possible mistake.
Do you have back ups of your work?
i had neglected to have back ups of all the color drawings created in the sketchbook app. If something had happened to my ipad, i would have lost all my high quality images. Most of it i have in lower quality formats (ie posted on this blog) but it would not be something to be able to reproduce the work from.
It took me about 6 hours over several days to save the high quality format of each to the cloud.
Why had i waited? No excuse worth losing them!
Maybe i should have it on a separate hard disc as well but at least its no longer only inside an app on one device.
Phew!
Please! don’t overlook the invisible work or your work could become invisible!
i feel lucky that nothing happened & graced to have had the attention to finally take care of it.

Pub drawings below from last week. Sharing one very much interrupted one. It’s pretty abstract but if you know the musician, Dave, i think it still looks like him. Thus, i’m including, it’s fun when that happens.
