& 1000 Open Mic Drawings
Today is 5 years from the start of the Creative Workshop that launched my shift in focus, the start of a year of daily drawing and posting. First in the workshop forum for 150 days followed here to complete the year 2/9/21.
i continued drawing daily but reduced my posting to weekly with an occasional miss. & now, i miss an occasional day of drawing without being concerned i’ll lose my groove with it.
As i was preparing to put this post together, i looked at my dashboard and listing of posts and noticed that last week was my 4ooth post!
i also landed 1033 drawings of Poultney Pub Open Mic musicians. With dupes as well as a few not photographed, its safe to say, i have 1000.
Bubbling over in life, & overflowing with what’s in front of me. i’m happy that i’ve been able to stay committed to consistently creating, not every single day in a solid streak but most days.
& most weeks i post, it feels good & also
just like any other day.
As i was shoveling out a magical wonderland of snow this morning, i thought, it was nice frosting on the cake!
What’s Next?
its beyond time to make these works available for acquisition. As is and printable reproducible. i may have even said that last year. Well, yes, it has been a bubbling over time…
& the work i continue to create i am thinking, i have an inkling to move from inside to outside. interiors to exteriors…
For now… here’s last weeks pub drawings.
Several new musicians, Tom and Jonathan joined Lobo who’s running the open mic while Danny is away.
Thank you for being here, thank you for Celebrating with me & enjoying, just another day!

Amazing!!!! Congratulations, Lisa on consistently being engaged in the practice, and showing up and sharing your wonderful work. It’s incredible to think it’s five years since we met, and we still meet weekly. You are a precious friend.
Thank you Alison! What a treat to get your message. i so appreciate your friendship and support these last 5 years. We have to Celebrate this week in our meeting! it snuck up on me… & i’m delighted at what a little everyday amounts to. i just added up the color drawings which take a lot longer than the base line drawings;(though some are not complete yet) there are over 60!
